Our Base oils are the beginning of the smoothest, creamiest non greasy lotions that nurture and soften. Here is some interesting information about the oils we use instead of petroleum based products.
Organic Olive Oil - We use only one type of olive oil for our lotions and creams -extra-virgin olive oil which is extracted from the first pressing of olives. It is the purest form of this oil. Thus, it is loaded with antioxidants that fight against free radicals, thereby working a great anti-aging treatment. Grapeseed Oil - We love to use grapeseed oil in a variety of our products, it's high in Vitamins, Minerals & Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids.It also soaks right in without an oil slick left behind.Grape seed oil is noted to preserve the natural moisture in aging skin, keeping it supple and smooth and it also penetrates easily into the skin. All Natural. Expeller Pressed Argan oil (indigenous to Morocco)One of my favorites, is touted as a restorative anti-aging serum, often referred to as "liquid gold." This natural antioxidant is loaded with vitamins A and E, omega-6 and omega-9 essential fatty acids, which can revitalize stressed skin in an instant. Coconut oil is often referred to as "the healthiest oil on earth." Its essential proteins and capric and lauric acids fight wrinkles, and tone and tighten skin. As nature's richest source of MCFAs (medium-chain fatty acids) coconut oil is easily absorbed by the body, strengthening your skin's connective tissues therefore also promoting a healthy scalp, and reinforcing lackluster hair strands caused by sun, heat and chemical damage. |
